A unique serum bank
In 2001, the UKCTOCS trial began collecting serum samples from over 200,000 women volunteers; this serum bank now contains over 500,000 serum samples, including over 350,000 longitudinal samples. In addition to the serum, there is a comprehensive database of phenotypic, demographic and disease incidence for each volunteer.
